Monthly Accounts

We at Baxter Associates believe that every business can benefit from a monthly accounting cycle showing each month’s results side by side. This highlights trends, anomalies, problems and successes. Problems highlighted can be solved before they do serious financial damage and successes can be built on to grow profits more quickly.

We start the process by updating your bookkeeping systems, bringing opening figures into line with your last accounts and training staff. Monthly figures are then produced before the end of the next month making them vitally useful in navigating the business towards better profits and safeguarding it from failure.

Cost ranges from £125/€195 per month for a small one man business to £350/€550 for a business employing 10-15 people.

The cost can vary according to how much bookkeeping is done by yourself or your staff. All Clients produce their own sales invoices and post customer payments. Larger Clients look after their purchase ledger and banking. In all cases we closely supervise this work to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. A useful telephone helpline is available free to all Clients.

As a special incentive we offer end of year statutory accounts free to Clients of our monthly service. This is possible because of the accuracy and efficiency of the monthly processes. These accounts are suitable for filing with the tax office or the Companies office where an audit is not required. Because of the high turnover exemptions before a statutory audit is required (UK £5.6m Ireland €1.5m) most UK Clients and many Irish Clients will not require an audit. For those that do, we have a panel of associate auditors who can do this work at keen rates because of the way in which we provide your file to them.
